BeautyLawn Spray, Inc. was born in the spring of 1968 by two lab techs who were employed by Buckeye Cellulose. Their names were O.A. Shields and Troy Wyatt. The partnership between these two men lasted until 1971, at which time Shields kept the name BeautyLawn Spray, Inc. and took over the original company. Shields and his two sons took care of the company until 1980, when Larry Shields and Christy Shields quit their jobs and began running BeautyLawn Spray. Larry and Christy are still running the business, alongside other family members and an amazing group of outstanding employees. YES, the company is STILL family and locally owned!
