Provided by YP.comWhoever this man that is distributing herbs from the Arlington, TX store is not DR. DUONG LAI CANH OR PHILLIP DUONG. Duong Lai Canh Herbs are not sold in quantities of 20 pills. They are manufactured in a bottle of 60 pills least to 120 capsules plus. ALL "DUONG LAI CANH" Herbs have two seals on their bottles of herbs distributed to their customers. Duong Lai Canh Herbs have an outer seal and also an inner seal to all of their products. If these seals have been broken, then that means someone has tampered with the bottle. I don't know how this man, Vien from Arlington Store, is selling customers quantities of 20 pills. This, as a distributor of Duong Lai Canh Herbs, is against Duong Lai Canh Herb's distributing policies. There are several stores in the Dallas, TX Metro areas that you can go to purchase Dr. Duong Lai Canh's herbs in sealed bottles with a store front, and not in quantities of 20 pills. You can also find an eccomerce website that you can purchase "Duong Lai Canh" Herbs online. This company's website is: Angelicherbandtea.com. (Google )
I agree with you, the customers that wrote these complaints about the Arlington Franchise Store of American Chinese Natural Herbs. This gentlemen at this Arlington store is scamming. I, myself, as an Herbalist do not know any herbs that can heal you with 20 pills. This Arlington Franchise Store was purchased by this gentlemen name "Vien" not Phillip Duong or Dr. Duong Lai Canh. He purchased this store location in the late 1990's. The gentlemen that you are dealing with in Arlington at address: 2505 E. Arkansas Ln. #105, Arlington, TX 76010 with American Chinese Natural Herbs store title is named "Vien".
American Chinese Natural Herbs, Inc and Duong Lai Canh Herbs is no longer distributing (wholesale) to this retail store location since late 2011.
Thank you for your complaints so that American Natural Herbs and Duong Lai Canh Herbs are aware of Mr. Vien's shady activities.
These organic herbal formulas work magnificently to heal the human body, but it would take 3-6 months plus or regular usage of herbs to heal the human body depending on the severity of the illness. A true certified L.Ac, O.M.D. needs to prescribe these herbs for you and if they are not certified, then I guess you will get 20 pills and you sure won't heal. That is an herbalist. A certified herbalist has a license to prescribe herbs the right way. Anyone can sell herbs, but an L.Ac., O.M.D or in other states L.Ac, D.O.M....knows herbs. Ask the next time you purchase herbs, do they have these license. If they don't, then don't bother. Would you go to a Surgeon that don't have no license, it is the same as herbs. Mr. Vien can not perform surgery like he cannot prescribe herbs. Again you must be licensed. Ask them their credential.

Provided by YP.comWOW!!! DO NOT ENTER!!! I too felt i had been robbed at gun point after leaving the store moments ago. The pushy saleman told me to pay him $35 to read my pulse area for medical consultation and sit down in the chair after i insisted i knew what i came in the store to get. I object and he tells me if i buy $35 worth of items he will take it off of medical consultation. i am inclined to accept the offer then. He then proceeds to tell me i have liver issue and high cholesterol and that i have erectile issues. I interject and said no on the latter but the liver issue and cholesterol i wasn't sure of. He then comes out with these mysterious pills and tells me the total is $195 for all three bottles. I tell him i couldn't afford it and he says what can you afford and i say well i came in here for pills or tea that would supress my appetite and he explains reason why i have the issue is because i have this liver issue. i then agree to buy the bottle and i think for a second no i shouldn't. he visibly gets upset then and asks me what can i afford he would work with me. i said well i have 60 and he says he will sell me 60 pills for the $60 so i am thinking I give him $25 more bucks (totally $60) and he would give me the pills. So i give him the $25 and he says no i need $60 more not $25 and i said oh no i don't have that. So he agrees to give me 20 pills instead and i am in utter disbelief this is happening before my eyes. I take the pills and awkwardly walk out the door. I am in complete disbelief I fell for this blatant scam. I think after typing my post and reading others i am about to look into the Better Business Bureau for this area and file a complaint. I urge others with similar experiences to do the same

Provided by YP.comOur recent horrific experience at the ACN Herb store w/ 41 year old owner Philip Duong (who claims to be Duong Lai Canh OMD – 72 year old) is one that we hope no else will have to encounter. We came into the store inquiring about some medicine to help with our young child’s skin rash. The owner tells our child to sit in a chair next to his table so that he could take our child’s pulse at the wrist using his fingers. W/o even looking at our child’s skin, he proceeds to say that the liver is not performing correctly which is causing the rash. As parents hearing that your child has any sickness, especially one which sounds so serious involving the liver really caused us tremendous worries. Then on a spiral notebook, he writes down $35 for the medical exam. He later on walks over to his medicine counter & brings back 4 large bottles of herbal meds & a box of green tea which costs $675! This is when our suspicions began. My husband & I had discussed that we were not comfortable giving our small child all those medicines especially since we were not sure of the harmful side effects (which he said that there weren’t any) or if it was even necessary. At the moment, just hearing that there may be something wrong with our child’s liver caused us to feel like we have to try getting some sort of treatment. Knowing that we had our doubts, the pushy salesman says that he has smaller bottles that are less expensive that we could buy instead. As time passed, he knew it would be more difficult for him to make a sale so he continued to interrupt by speaking really fast as he was making his pitch. We were still very skeptical but somehow had agreed to buy just the green tea which ridiculously ended up costing $135! (Beware: none of the stores’ products have prices labeled). We paid the man $170 (no receipt was ever given to us). While sitting in our parked car, my husband & I just looked at each other and asked what just happened? We both felt like we were just somehow scammed. When we got home, we decide to research this business & the so-called “Dr”. Not to our surprise, we find that others have also had similar bad experiences. We then searched to see if the man was a legitimate dr and turns out that he isn’t even a “Dr”. The following day we returned to the store to confront the man & get a full refund. The owner refused to give us our $ back & so we asked to see his Dr’s Certification. As we noticed in hung up really high on the wall behind the cash register, we approach to write down his certificate info. He got extremely upset & tried pushing us out. Then says he was going to call the cops which we said that would be a good idea. He attempts to dial & starts talking into the phone but turns out he didn’t actually call the police (we didn’t know this at the time). He got very irritated when we said that we were not leaving until the police arrive. With us still inside the store he turns out the lights, sets his alarm off, & locks us in! After waiting quite some time with the alarm blaring in our ears, we decide to give the police a call ourselves since we can’t be certain that the man had called the cops. Shortly the police arrive, we explained our story. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much that they could do at the time however if we pursue (along with all of those who have been victims) will seek justice. We thought that day would be the last time that we would have to speak to the scandalous man. We were wrong! Later that evening when we got home, the phone rang and sure enough it was him threatening us & making up some lame story that we had stolen $3000 from him. We told him if he continued harassing us that we were going to report him to the police. This was one sure lesson that we have learned & are trying to warn others so that you or your loved ones won’t make the same mistake.
