Just like my mother's cooking...I hated my mother's cooking. We ordered spaghetti with garlic butter sauce and mushrooms as well as a meatball sub. First problem, this place charges you a dollar extra for putting cheese on a meatball sub. Meatball subs are SUPPOSED to have cheese! Who wants a meatball on a piece of bread? Second problem, the meatballs tasted like they were frozen...for a long time. The bread was that cheap hoagie bread you get from the grocery store which got soggy and doughy very quickly. The only thing decent was the sauce. My meal on the other hand was a plate of noodles drowned in olive oil, a little melted butter, a crap ton of CANNED mushrooms with some garlic powder on top, along with a side of nasty Texas toast. The salad was crappy iceberg lettuce with bottled (tasted like Kraft) dressing. Absolutely the only thing good about this place was our server. Even the sodas tasted like maple syrup because someone back there doesn't know how to calibrate a soda machine. The food was at least edible, but this was a case of paying restaurant prices for hospital cafeteria quality food. When we expressed our displeasure about our food, we were just told to come back and try the pizza. NO THANKS. (And for the record, those who think this is even Italian food need to get to a New England state quick. That's like saying Taco Bell is Mexican)
