Never do business with Displays Fine Art Services
I made the mistake of hiring this company – now you’ll know why you should never do the same.
a) They provided the wrong packing materials due to an inept sales person (I was told repeatedly that she was new and would learn – apparently by making multiple mistakes on my account)
b) They never scheduled delivery until I contacted them. Even then, I had to call back a week later because the sales person again dropped the ball and didn’t schedule it as she promised.
c) They delivered the four crates 11 weeks and 6 days after picking them up.
d) Unpacking the crates is not included in the price. I will have to do that myself (and move the art to the appropriate rooms even though they collected each piece from the various rooms when they picked it up and built the crates right there). I also have to find a way to haul away four large wooden crates.
e) Insurance is not included in the price – so, if I open the crates and the artwork is destroyed, they won’t do anything about it.
And for all that I paid $9,434. When I complained about the delays, they credited me about $400. Yes, only $400.
I have never been less satisfied by a company that I’ve done business with. Save yourself and go elsewhere.
