BEWARE! From the misrepresentation about the care they would provide to their refusal to stay with my sister the night she died it was a very bad experience with Freedom Hospice for our family. We had no previous experience with hospice services so didn’t know what to expect. We didn’t think they were doing things like they should be done, but had nothing else to compare it to. Freedom Hospice had been recommended to my sister by the social worker on the oncology unit at the hospital so we thought they were reputable. Their communication with the family was poor as was their care for my sister during her 10 weeks with them. On the night she and our family needed them most they refused to stay with her. Since she passed we have learned that Freedom Hospice’s level of care was not standard and was lacking and wrong in many areas. Our complaint against Freedom Hospice filed with the Texas Department of Health & Human Services which oversees hospice companies in the state of Texas has been validated. If this review can save any other families from getting involved with Freedom Hospice it will have served its’ purpose.

Thank you to everyone involved in my Mother's care, you really made a difference.

My husband could not have received more loving compassionate care if he had been home. I had no questions because I was so well informed by your staff. I would refer Freedom Hospice to anyone without hesitation, proudly.
