Provided by YP.comThis place sucks when it comes to customer service. They are so super freaking rude at the front desk. I Will never bring my dog back to this place ever. Go anywhere but here for your pet care and needs please I'm telling you this place is so trashy.

Provided by YPmobileThis place is so expensive, when I took my cat there, I was told that it was going to be $1500, so I asked a male Dr. what was wrong with my cat, he said before he can tell me it was going to be that mich!

Provided by YP.comWould not recommend taking an older pet with major issues. A lot of tests and procedures with no diagnosis. Go to a specialist instead. This is what I did. Very costly lesson

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely love I-20 Animal Medical Center. My kittys always receive the upmost professional health care. Dr. Welch is incredible and has a great bedside manner. You can really tell she cares about all of the fur babies and their humans. All of the staff is professional, knowledgeable and caring. I can not say enough good about them and highly recommend them. One of my kittys had a complex problem, he has been being treated for over the past 6 months. Dr. Welch was immediately able to assess the issues and start a treatment plan. My kitty is doing super now because of her. On our last visit, one of the assistants even took the time to trim his nails. I am beyond impressed.

Provided by YP.comI took my 6yr. old very sick Yorkie to them, they ran some test and said he was in renial failure! They gave him under the skin IVs and sent us home. The next morning he was doing much worse, so I called. They said he would be fine and to come back in 2 weeks. I took him for a second opinion. The vet had him rushed to a new animal hospital in Fort Worth. He was in icu for 3 days! He has made a full recovery! They said he would have been dead by that evening from dehydration if he had not been put on intervenes iv. They also stated that they could not believe that I-20 hospital did no put him on IVs! They said that was textbook first week of veterinarian school procedure. If you love your dog as much as I love mine, don't take your ill dog to I-20animal hospital in Arlington Texas!

Provided by YP.comOn Feb. 12 I had my 11 year old Schnauzer in to see Dr. Bonnie Bloom to have her teeth cleaned. I was so impressed with Dr. Bloom and her associates. They went into great detail explaining everything that would take place. It was a little more complicated than I expected since they had to extract three teeth. They did a wonderful job and were so professional and caring. I20 Animal Clinic/Hosptal is a state of the art facility. with terrific doctors, associates and owners. I highly recommend this facility. They treat your pets like family and that is what we all like to see. Thanks again for the outstanding service you provided. Sincerely, Nancy Coleman

Provided by YP.comDON'T TAKE YOUR CATS HERE! They killed my cat under anesthesia and had no explanations as to what happened. We brought our 1 and a half year old cat to them as she had been lethargic for the past two days. They came in and took her temperature (rectally) and pressed on her body while she stood there perfectly still. We were told they needed to do blood work and a pelvic exam and the doctor said she needed to be put under because she "didn't feel like getting bit". I didn't understand why she needed to be put under to have blood drawn in the first place but we were worried and they took her back. They came in a few minutes later and told us the pelvic exam was good and her stool was hard so that was good. Then a minute after that the tech busted in and said she had stopped breathing, they had her intubated, but there was a heartbeat. We were in complete shock! The doc came back in a few minutes later and babbled on about how she doesn't know what happened, all her vitals were good, her heart sounded fine, lungs sounded fine, and how she's never had this happen before. She said they were doing cpr and left the room. She came back in a few minutes later, said the same monotone things she said the first time and let us know they lost the heartbeat and asked what we wanted them to do, did we want them to continue with cpr. We said yes. She came in a third time, said the same thing, and asked if we wanted them to stop as its had been so long without a heartbeat. We had to make that horrible decision. I asked why she had to be put under anesthesia in the first place and she very defensively said "because she lunged at me and I didn't want to be bit." I'm sorry, but if you and your techs can't draw blood from a lethargic cat who not once swatted or tried to bite you before you made the decision to put her under then you need to get out of this profession. I then asked what the results of the blood work was and they hadn't ran it. We requested it be ran so we'd at least know what was wrong with her. The worst part of all of this is that the results came back perfectly normal and they couldn't tell us what was wrong. She was sick, but nothing life threatening and because this horribly unprofessional person "didn't feel like getting bit" because supposedly she was "lunged at" our baby died. No explanations, they were completely baffled by what happened or what was even wrong with her. I suppose it should also be noted that our cat had been put under a year ago to be spayed and had zero issues. These people are terrible and I hope nobody else goes through the same heart-wrenching experience. If you are debating taking your cat right now please don't! Go anywhere else!

Provided by YP.comI doubt seriously they killed your cat, Maria. I'm sure you feel that way, they have been wonderful and caring for my 4 dogs and 4 cats over a 20 year period, through, Pancreatitus, kidney failure, enlarged heart. And I would recommend them to anyone.. They have let me come visit at 2 am, saved my cat who lived 3 more years, and were extremely helpful when an animal passed and I wanted them to go to the pet cemetery .

My cat Chaos was having problems urinating on a sunday.. I took him to I-20 Animal Hospital where I was informed that he possibly had a block in urinary tract.. It would cost $2500.00 to treat him with a 48 hour stay. Office called Tues afternoon and stated.. Chaos is doing great! urinating wonderful! no issues at all!! Chaos can go home.. It was a 10-15 min drive home. Chaos was not able to urinate and was bleeding from his private area. I called office and they stated that he was blocked again... Really again! in the 10-15 min ride home??? I returned to office with chaos 2 days straight after he was able to go home.. Still not able to urinate and still bleeding. By Thursday I was sent to a surgery center.. Now he needs to have urinary tract shorten?? Friday 8-8-2014 i held Chaos as he was put to sleep.. He was bleeding internaly and I-20 fail to mention they did 2 caths instead of only one as they told me they did.. I paid over $3000 there and another $1000 to the surgery center. They have failed to take fault in any thing that has happened.. In less than a week I lost my best friend, my shadow.

Provided by YPmobileTook my dog in last week cause he coughed blood. Couldn't give me answer as to why other than he may have coughed hard and a blood vessel bust. Did all kinds of xrays and test. They did great fluid which had built up in his lungs and gave him a shot. Also gave me all kinds of antibiotics. He is doing much better and I appreciate how they call to check on your pet. However it seemed like they wanted to get him in when I said he was doing well. Vet called and wants me to bring him in again and see about getting more medicine....yeah...seems like they want more money. Plus forget about trying to get a hold of them on a Saturday. The vet casually strolls in at 11:30 and had to see several pets before mine cause of an emergency. That I understand and was okay with. Just wish they gave a better idea of when you could get your pet. I left my house at nine and could not get him until after 1 PM cause the vet would not let him leave until she saw him. I was told he was doing well so I didn't get why I couldn't just talk to the vet tech. Would also be nice to know the doctors hours. Seems like I was on their time the entire time. Communication is either great or crap.

Provided by YP.comIt STINKS!! We called to get some advice from them about our 16-year-old dog who was not eating due to her teeth hurting.....the loser that we talked to wouldn't give us some simple advice over the phone about something easy to eat, she just said "She needs to be seen"...what an idiot! Seems like all they want to do is bilk money from the customers....they don't care!!!

Provided by YP.comI LOVE this place. It's always spotless, and the staff is so caring, you can really tell they are animal lovers. I always feel safe boarding my dogs here when I'm out of town. The ladies at the desk are so helpful, and when I ask questions they've always got an answer. I even felt bad because my older dog had an accident when we walked in, and the staff was right there cleaning it up, and letting me know it happens often. I never feel uncomfortable and have a lot of trust in the staff. I just felt with the wonderful service I get here I owed them a good review. Thank you all :)

Provided by YP.comI took my sick dog there at the rec of my local vet because it was sunday and an emergency situation. I was quoted 1800 for the suregry and signed a form saying not to exceed 2200.I called regularly to check and was told that the dog was sick but I had enough credits to cover the next procedure. this went on for 3 days and nights and then they said I needed to pick my dog up or it would cost another 300.00 when i got to the clinic they told me I had an additional balance of 2700 above and beyond the 2200 i had paid. I refused to pay and fought them for several weeks before they said ok no pay. My dog died 2 days later due to the complications and horrible treatment at this clinic.
Beware, stay away

Provided by YP.comThis clincs prices are OUTRAGEOUS...they have a pretty facility and all but their prices are crazy and the lady I spoke with was kind of rude that I called JUST to find out information...I wanted to take me 1 year old cat Zoey there to have her shots done and to get her spayed and have her front paws declawed...They quoted me "about" $550 she said...that does not include her take home meds or the special kitty litter she will need to her sensitive paws those 2 things would tack on another $30 or $40 depending on which meds the doctor gives her $580...ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Thats is VERY high considering the other 14 clinics I called in the area ranged any where from $250 beinging the lowest and $400 being the highest that anyone quoted me...and ALL but 2 of those clinics included the take home meds and special kitty litter in their price...THANKS BUT NO THANKS I THINK I WILL SAVE THE $200!
