I try to get there at least twice a month. Its a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it. I always go during the lunchtime buffet which is varied and delicious.

Apparently This place has come a long way after reading the previous reviews. They have a nice lunch buffet that offers at least 4-5 choices of an entrée, which doesn't matter because I tend to go for the chicken tiki masala which is RIDICULOUSLY good. they have 3-4 sides that are usually delicious, the Naan is great, the service is ok. For a family run business, this local eatery is a great place to not spend a ton of money ($88?! really?? me and my girl ate there for under $20) and walk away happy with a full belly of WAY more authentic Indian cuisine than I can make myself. Trust your gut, not the negativity from 5 years ago. Thank you Indian Grill for giving south Arlington some semblance of Indian cuisine!

food is not good !!!!

the food was not good as i thought. i have been to many place similar to this like Simply Fuondo . the meal that i order was $88 for two and the thing is that their meats looks good but did not tast good because u have to cook it in a soup base pot which kills all the season on the meats the different that u can tell is texture of meat like chicken and beef.

i will never recommend this place to anyone who wanna try fuondo food .

Absolute Garbage!! Avoid it like the PLAGUE!

Let me start of by saying I absolutely LOVE Indian cuisine and, having traveled a LOT, have had the fortune to dine at many such restaurants. I'm proud [not pompous] to have a very distinguished palate and can easily differentiate gourmet from fast-food-quality [India Grill] !

So, I visited the Highlands last week with my family and was delighted at the presence of an Indian Restaurant. Long story short, the Customer Service was not just bad, it was simply put, NON EXISTENT.

The food was NOT cooked through and some dishes [family of 9 and we ordered a LOT of dishes] were flat out cold and tasted like poop!! India Grill is, or should be viewed as, a leading example of anything BUT Indian Cuisine!! The quality of the food was NOTHING like genuine Indian cuisine.

It seemed to me that a novice with ZERO cooking experience has been made chef, or lack thereof! I would rate the quality of food as a NEGATIVE 1 !! Additionally, their price to quantity ratio is way off ! I guarantee you'll feel ripped off by the time you walk out of there!

We didn't try their buffet [dinner is only ala carte] but if their ala carte is anything to judge by, I can only imagine the quality of their Buffet Food!!

I highly recommend trying CLAYPIT in Dallas [Excellent Service, GREAT food and decently priced] or Mayuri [ Decent Customer Service, Great Food - their Lunch Buffet will BLOW your mind!!, and Very affordable] in Irving or STAR INDIA [Good Customer Service, Good Food, and very decently priced]

Stay away from India Grill unless you simply do not care about taste, service, and your hard earned green!!
