The Sanford House is open to the public for breakfast and lunch daily, as well as dinner on Friday and Saturday night. Excellent!!

The Sanford House Inn is beautiful and superb. I would give it 5 stars with no doubts. The staff is excellent, the new management is fabulous. Even had breakfast there during my stay and it was wonderful. Their cheif and food were amazing! I would recommend this to all my family and friends!!

I have stayed here many times,...

I have stayed here many times, in several of the different rooms, and it has always been exceptional. The rooms and cottages have always been pristine, and the courtyard and the events they hold there have been phenomenal! I went to their live jazz on Fridays and brought a group of friends along - we had a great time, and will probably come again soon. The staff has always been courteous and provide fantastic service. The remodeling inside looks great! The spa also has great service, and I always get the best pedicures there.

Excellent! I went last year with several friends and had a wonderful relaxing lunch. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful and they allowed us to tour the grounds.

As bad as it gets

My wife and I had the misfortune of renting out one of The Sanford House's cottages for a weekend, along with a day at the spa for my wife. DO NOT believe the hype these folks feed you. It was HORRIBLE. There were roaches all over the cottage, the complimentary breakfast was terrible and the staff were downright rude. My wife did enjoy the spa, so all was not lost. I called to complain the next week to the director. Not sure of her last name but her first name was Debbie. Probably one of the most rude and uncaring people I have ever run across. She didn't seem concerned at all that we had a bad experience. She had the nerve to suggest that if I didn't enjoy my stay with The Sanford House, then I just shouldn't ever return there again. For the poor experience we had there, I could have just saved my money by staying at a Motel 6 and eating breakfast at the local Jack in the Box. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some money and a HUGE headache. Stay away from The Sanford House Inn & Spa
