Provided by YP.comI went to Texas Appliance in Arlington to buy a refrigerator, and received a nice discount when I was enticed to participate in their Texas Two-Step special, also purchasing a mattress to qualify for the discount. Got the fridge, it didn't work. After multiple tech visits, 4 separate refrigerators delivered (all faulty), and 4 months later, we got a refund from GE minus the discount. Basically the discount I received was swept out from under us due to a faulty product, and neither GE or Texas Appliance would make it right in order to get us back with a comparable product.
Joi at Texas Appliance completely lacked empathy. When I spoke to her about my situation she looked annoyed, possibly because we were speaking in front of her employees. It was strange. She also did not reply or react to an email sent from another store employee (Jan) days earlier about my concern, but she told me she had seen it. Why no reply? Not very reactive or proactive in handling concerns.
In summary, Joi basically told me that she could not and would not help, and did not offer a comparable discount or assistance towards another refrigerator. I don't believe that I can shop here any more due to the negative experience. The sales team works well from what I observed, but Joi as a manager lacks quality customer service.
The original salesman Lloyd is a good salesman, and is knowledgeable and amicable. I would buy from him again if he worked at another store.

Provided by YP.comThese people are super friendly and helpful when you are ready to buy... but when the appliance breaks or doesn't work out... they are horrible to deal with. Take your money elsewhere. We bought 3 new appliances, and the built in microwave we bought turned out to be way too big- the measurements were right, but the handle, depth, etc was much larger than what we had imagined. They charged us a 'restocking fee' to return the dang thing 1 week later. The microwave was never even taken out of the box, but it had to be "restocked"??? Not cool. Then the light inside the stove went out a couple of weeks after we bought it... I called them expecting an apology and a quick service appointment. Joe answered the phone and very lazily told me I needed to call the manufacturer... not great customer service. These people are a bunch of clowns who obviously don't feel like they need to earn business. I will never give them my money again.

Provided by YP.comI am a little amazed. After logging on and reading the reviews left by others I can't believe this is the same Texas Appliance me and my family have purchased from for years. We just went to the new Hurst store to purchase a new dishwasher. Our salesperson was very nice and extremely informative and caring. She helped us select a new KitchenAid dishwasher and they had it in stock and were able to deliver and install it the very next day. The installer did a fantastic job. He was very polite and respectful. Overall the experience was great! This is our third purchase with Texas Appliance and could not be happier. Always great prices and know their products. Will buy all my appliances there in the future!
Thanks so much for your business! We are always there to help.

Provided by YP.comTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Purchased a microwave from Texas Appliance and had it installed.
The next day I discovered it was defective. I spoke to Mr. Etling. I asked for a new one and was advised that I need to contact a service company. I asked if I could return the microwave and was told no.
