My credit and debit card were stolen on Jan 30, 2019 and the thief went on a shopping spree at this Apple Store purchasing about $4.400 in merchandize the next day. No one at the Apple Store bothered to check his/her ID, or ZIP code or debit card PIN number or check the signature on the back of the card, for making such a considerable purchase with stolen cards. Not only that, but the thief made sure to run my account to $0 most likely by adding stuff until there were no more money left on my account. After that, the thief tried to do the same thing with my credit card but this was declined by my bank as suspicious activity. Disturbingly, none of these actions raised any suspicions to the Apple Store associates who facilitated the thief to get away with $4.400 Apple products. I called the Apple Store manager right after the credit card informed me about the suspicious activity but she did not seem to bother herself with finding the store associate(s) who cooperated with the thief and facilitated his/her robbery or get the amount of the transaction and the exact time when it happened that I offered to provide to her. Cannot believe how such a thing can happen at the Apple Store in Pentagon City Mall.
