Dr. Hassan Tabandeh was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up in Tehran, where he attended medical school at Azad University. After returning to U.S., he passed his board exams, scoring all in the 99th percentile. He started his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine-Cabrini Program in New York. His cardiology fellowship was completed at NY Medical College-Westchester Medical Center. Dr Tabandeh started his Carrier in Northern Virginia by joining Virginia Cardiovascular Associates (currently Carient Heart & Vascular) in 2003. While with the group, he spent most his time treating patients in Warrenton and Manassas. He joined Virginia Hospital Center Physician Group in February 2015 to start a Cardiology practice with Drs Eric Thorn and Preston Perrin. Dr Tabandeh is Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, Vascular imaging interpretation and adult echocardiography, he is a non-invasive cardiologist with particular focus on echocardiography and Vascular Imaging. Dr. Tabandeh participates in a variety of sports including running, biking, skiing, and tennis. He is also a proficient classical pianist.
