Definately would not use McAlexander Electric. I am only giving a one star rating because I cannot get the review on without any stars at all. McAlexander is very expensive and did not fix the problem. I used him on recommendation of a friend so my mistake in being too trusting and not getting a second opinion. I was having power surges when more than one appliance was being used. McAlexander said all my circuits needed to be separated. After over $3000 worth of work and a huge hole in my drywall that I had to get repaired I was still having the same problem. I called Joe McAlexander the morning after the job was finished and told him I was still having the same problem. Instead of making a special trip I told him when he came to install a bathroom heater I had requested to check it then. That was a month and a half ago and still no call back from McAlexander. I contacted another electrician who over the phone said it sounded like I had a loose connection and to call PG&E. I called PG&E and they came out that afternoon and fixed the problem within half an hour at no cost to me. Very costly lesson learned. ALWAYS, ALWAYS get a second opinion no matter who recommends the worker and how much you think you should be able to trust them.

Joe McAlexander Electric does great work!

This is the only electrician I will ever go to for electrical work. He showed up right on time, came in and got the job done quick. Living near the beach everything gets rusted and corroded badly. He was able to correct many of my problems in a matter of minutes. Very nice, very professional and quality work in a timely manner. What more could you ask for. If you need any electrical work done call Joe at (805) 481 7990 and he will take care of any problems you have. Thanks again Joe

Great response and gave a very reasonable estimate for installation of a spa electrical hookup.

He and is sons did exactly what he said he would do and quickly took care of any problems that came up,

They were professional all phases from beginning to finish.

Joe ran a new 50 Amp electrical line and conduit from the house deck to the spa location. This included a post for the 50 Amp GFCI Breaker and a duplex outlet.

When the spa was delivered and installed, he was right on time to hook up the electrical and test it out.

I would highly recommend him for any electrical work.
