Tutela Handbags About Tutela Hand Bags Jill and Christiane started Tutela Handbags in 2002. Our multi-faceted backgrounds- vintage collectors, retailers, and apparel designers- are what have given us the knowledge and inspiration for our line of handbags. We started the line, using our collection of vintage fabrics, creating limited edition and one-of-a kind handbags. We have since found a lot of new fabrics that are reproduction, or vintage-inspired. We are able to offer more handbags, but each bag is still unique, with the print placement different on each bag.
