don't even bother calling Arvin Animal Control, they don't take the job seriously and they don't care if it's a serious situation like an animal attacking a person or child. the most they will do is talk to the owner and that is it. they don't take any real action unless they know the family has money, then they will constantly try and fine you.

today I had to use pepper spray to prevent my one year old and I from being attacked and the animal control officer didn't do much and also said the dog was friendly.

I had placed a report a few days before as well and they didn't do anything. they waited till something actually happened.

honestly, I would rather just take things into my own hands than ever waste time with another animal control officer from Arvin. I don't even know why they get paid for doing nothing.
