I had adopted my dog from the Humane Society and chose to make Adams my vet. They said she had needed to be spayed. They said she needed a heartworm test. They said she had needed her tooth pulled. They said she had needed special monitoring and medication in order to conduct the surgery. I said fine. They called me up and said, "Well everything went well except she was already spayed." Apparently these morons couldn't tell the difference between a female whom had its parts to one who didn't. They continued to suggest that there was no way of knowing if a dog had been spayed or not. Well, i googled it. There are 3 ways. A regular physical, the previous scar which was clearly visible after she had been shaved and a ultrasound. This is the good part. They proceeded to tell me that the vet was inside of her for 45 minutes! She is a Daschund! And they didn't verify other work they had done on her with me! No apology! My dog is 9 yrs old, that unnecessary surgery shortened her life! No good

Recently I was referred to Dr. Adams by another veterinarian for a 2nd opinion regarding possible surgery for our beloved little yorkie-poo. I found Dr. Adams to be a very knowledgeable and forthright. His calm, friendly demeanor calmed both our puppy and his very nervous "mommy!" His staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I won't hesitate to return for all my veterinary needs in the future!
