I recently went to this salon a bit reluctantly after reading the other review on this site. My last cut was (free with a long hair donation) at an upscale salon charging $60.00. It had grown out over the last 5 months and I went to Great Clips because I had a coupon for a $4.99 cut. The salon isn't too bright and cheery or fancy, but I showed a picture of my last cut to the stylist (Bonny) anyway and she seemed confidant, so I went for it. Somewhat surprisingly, she did a fantastic job! The cut was so good, my neighbor thought I went back to the $60 place! I know that this was a very precise and technical cut because I am a licensed cosmetologist myself (from yrs. ago), so I should be a descent judge of a great cut. I can't speak for all the stylists there, but Bonny did a fantastic job on my hair. I will definitely go back to her because I will get a great cut at a very affordable price!!!

Im trying to get in contact with the woman who posted a review about the salon. I am Jessica the Assistant manager at this salon. I am very sorry about your experiance at the salon if you are able to come in with more details as to whom you had I would appreciate it I would also like to give you your next two cuts free of charge. We have many stylist that could help you at the salon that are understanding to the customers wants and not what the stylist feels is needed. You receivedvery poor customer service andI wont except it at my salon so I need the stylist information so I can take correct measures on resulving this issue and insuring it doesnt happen to another customer. Please come see myself or Josh at the salon again I apologize for your experience.

I have gone to the Great Clips in Broadlands for the past 4 years and I have NEVER had any of the stylists treat me that way or totally direguard anything I asked them to do. I will not be returning to this salon and I will continue to go to the other Great Clips even though its now 15 minutes away from my house. I work at the Sports Pavillion nearby and know A LOT of the community who I will be spreading my story too.. GREAT CLIPS AT ASHBROOK COMMONS STINKS NO WONDER ITS ONLY $3.99

I visited this salon last Saturday after grocery shopping next door at Harris Teeter. I just moved across town and was very happy to see a new Great Clips close to my new house because I love the other one in Broadlands. The stylist was very rude and condescending to me as I told him I only wanted a 1/2 inch off. He replied "well half of your hair is dead, so you might want to consider taking off 5 inches!" I take care of my hair and I did not appreciate him talking to me in any old way. My hair isn't dead its just colored on the bottom, I explained that to him and he told me that he didnt even have a product in the store that could fix my hair. We finally got started on the haircut wjich we again agreed upon a half inch. It was at this point he turned my chair to face the door and did my haircut in about 10 minutes of silence. He then turned me to face the mirror and I immediatley noticed he had taken off several inches from my hair and given me layerss which I had not asked
