As a career interventionist that sends many people afflicted with alcohol and drug addiction to inpatient rehab, I have only had good experiences working with the entire staff at Spring Hill Recovery.I highly recommend Spring Hill Recovery and will continue to refer there.

Staff members are not very qualified in setting up effective after-care for residents. They seem to link with partner sites and refer individuals to these after care facilities only, which are often extremely costly. Inconsistency with treatment approaches amongst clinicians, with staff missing critical appointments with patients. After-care treatment plans are very linear and the clinicians lack the ability to successfully navigate setting up reasonable after-care plans for clients. As well, verbal threats were made against my partner, who was being discharged after completing 40 successful days in treatment, that he needed to travel to their one suggested after-care* (*costly and out of pocket) site or they would write a letter withdrawing their support. They did absolutely nothing to investigate varying after-care possibilities that could be paid for via insurance, instead making assumptions that all parties could pay out of pocket for after-care. Simply, to threaten someone's progress is a bullying tactic and ineffective. Be aware of this when considering admission to Spring Hill Recovery in Ashby, Mass.
