I too want to be honest here and complain about their DSL Internet, it’s just flat out horrible! It’s like having dial up. I even added more speed but it doesn’t matter because their explanation is explained in this months newsletter......No way around the more humans you have in your household family the more it takes away. If my daughter is using our Internet and I get on it, It just scrolls and scrolls and will barely let you get on it after waiting about five minutes.....What a waste of time!! My Bill is almost $100.00 and you have to have home phone just to get internet. Terrible, Terrible, no other way to say it!!

I returned home on New Year's Eve and discovered several of my electronics including DSL not working. I explained my situation to the very personable rep on New Year's Day. The technician whom I don't recall his name arrived the same day, 5:30 pm after working a long day. This young gentleman was extremely polite and apologetic that DSL was down. After troubleshooting he discovered that lightning had fried my equipment. He made repairs and got me up and running in no time. He hung around until I confirmed my laptop, computer and tablet recognized the new router as I am somewhat tech challenged. Randolph Telephone reps and technicians are second to none when it comes to customer service. These folks are extremely knowledgeable and proficient!

For years they charged $80 for the mandatory phone/a lousy 1.5 MB download.

Now they charge $160 for mandatory phone/8MB download/a pathetic TV package with their new fiber-optics. Plus membership feels, installation, blown up deposits!!!!

Time Warner gives you phone/10MB download/200 channels for $90!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time Warner will give you 3-4 times as much download speed for the outrages $160 Randolph Telephone charges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT: If you live in a rural area, Time Warner doesn't serve you! So you are stuck with either nothing or being milked like a dumb arse by Randolph Telephone!

No ethics! No standards! Just sucking money out of those that have no other option!

Pathetic!

DSL

After 2 yrs with Verizon hot spot with 5 gigs per month for $50 , didn't want a home phone but to have good internet

must have. I got the fastest offered I haven't had any

problem streaming anything yet, without fiber optic. Very

pleased with service but paying a big price.

Randolph telephone tries real ...

Randolph telephone tries real hard, most of the folks there are very helpful and dedicated to their jobs. Unfortunately, their DSL internet service is horrific no matter how you measure it. It is slow, expensive, and unreliable. They have service outages on a weekly and almost daily level. If you call them they often don't even pick up the phone. If they go down over the weekend it is often out till Monday. Bottom line is they are the only show in town so they can get away with horrible service. Your only alternative options are satellite, wireless, or dialup. Time Warner - please come to the rural areas.

i hate it

hey yall, im reviewing randolph telephone's internet dsl service, i really dont have anything good to say about it, its sloooow, sometimes as slow as dial-up, constantly connects and disconnects from my laptop, it randomly doesnt work or cant find a connection, they say they are doin a upgrade, but when its finally up and running again its usually slower than before they did the upgrade, its more like a downgrade, but where i live this is the only internet service i can get so i guess its better than nothin, but i will say that sometimes its really fast and responsive and works like it should but for the most part its just aggravating. so thats my review
