Dr Schultz and Amy at Randloph Internal Medical is the best. I have been through some difficult times in the last five years. The medical team is always on it. They make you feel like family. They treat you as if you're the only patient they have.

Dr. Prochnau is a very good doctor. She is always friendly and has a smile on her face. She really cares about her patients and takes good care of them. No matter how busy she is, she is always kind and gives every patient the time needed to be sure they are well cared for and the problem they have is solved. She has taken good care of me. She saved my life. She found a DVT that two other doctors ignored and treated with antibiotics. She ordered. a doppler that found an extensive DVT and I was immediately started on Lovenox and Coumadin. If not for her dedication to her patients and the care they receive, I would probably have had a stroke or would be dead now. Thank God for Dr. Prochnau!

Dr. Prochnau is without doubt the best internal medicine doctor practicing in Asheboro. She is well-educated, knowledgeable and thorough. I would not trust any other physician to handle my care or the care of my family members. Dr. Prochnau has been an advocate for me and my family in health matters. She goes out of her way to be certain I am referred to an outstanding, qualified specialist when I am dealing with serious health problems. She always follows up to assure I have been cared for properly and I am pleased with the care I received. I have talked with other patients of hers and we all agree - if we want excellent care, a thorough, accurate examination, Dr. Prochnau is the "go to" doctor. She has an exceptional, friendly bedside manner. I do not mind waiting to get an appointment with her. When I see her, I know she will get to the bottom of my problem. Thank goodness Asheboro has this caliber of physician to care for us!

I would not recommend going here because I was misdiagnosed by Mrs. Prochnau. She told me my Cervix was swollen and I need to go get a ultrasound at the Hospital. So I went and had one done, and the hospital told me my Cervix was just fine. Well then I went to my gynecologist, and she said I just have a larger Cervix then some women, that it was perfectly normal. So I had to pay 1,000 dollars for a ultrasound that I didn't need to begin with. I will never go to Mrs. Prochnau again, and I would not recommend her to anyone, not only did she misdiagnose me but she also misdiagnosed my mother as well. I just wanted to let everyone know what I had to go through. I am not trying to change anyone's opinion, but just to let everyone know my story.
