The children's dental office of Joshua Paynich, DDS, PA is here to help. We occupy a state-of-the-art facility where we strive to provide safe, high quality care while adhering to green (eco-friendly) standards. Dr. Joshua Paynich Dentistry is the perfect profession for Dr. Josh. An as active member of the community, he enjoys spending his days interacting with children. Laughing and joking with them is part of his light hearted personality. Originally from Montana, he became a dentist after relocating to North Carolina. While living in Montana, Dr. Josh grew up playing hockey, excelled in outdoor activities, such as rock climbing, mountain biking, and extreme downhill snow skiing. To compliment these physical activities, Dr. Josh also accumulated academic honors and distinctions throughout his many years in school. Dr. Josh has a dedication to education, a commitment to the community, and a compulsion for great dentistry. Dr. Scott Peele A North Carolina native, Dr. Peele grew up just outside Chapel Hill in Pittsboro, NC, where his father is a dentist. He has been practicing in Asheville since receiving his doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina in 2004. Prior to Dentistry, Dr. Peele studed medical anthropology at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He also received a M.A. degree in Chinese medicine at John Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, and served as adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Washington's Harborview Medical Center. He spends his spare time with his family playing music or outdoors, on our area's whitewater rivers and trails.
