Provided by YP.comI choose computer repair shops: 1) Their current reviews 2) Word of mouth (there was none) 3) I look at the background of the store - owners, D&B reports, etc.
My computer worked. I wanted minor-safe upgrades for tightened security.
I had a problem with both more widely known and used Apple stores in our area. I wanted another option. This wasn't it. Looks
were deceiving.
The good:
-- small store easily accessible
-- two techs
-- tech knowledge level
-- "listening" where the gentleman heard what I
said and rephrased it w/his own experience. That
didn't play out well.
Not good:
-- Unanswered email ... One email was missed maybe both but I gave up. They knew about one because I drove over.
-- A complete failure on a major request. We "argued" about it. There's no doubt EM had wrong info. While arguable before, it's not now.
I wouldn't go back due to lack of trust. I've been doing recent updates myself. I trust me. You'll need to figure out if you trust them.
