terrible owners. staff is knowledgeable. players are bizarre and cliquey. there are much better shops to support in the WNC area. this shop burns through employees and when they are terminated are put under gag-order to protect the shady business practices. spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere for your gaming needs unless you enjoy gaming with an awful taste in your mouth.

Hillside Games has the best assortment of games in town. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The level of game play is competitive, but not overwhelming to beginners. The prize payout for the tournaments is very generous especially considering that FNM is FREE for Constructed deck play.

Hillside games has awesome players, but the owner is a prick. Honestly if you play magic in the area the best place to play is Gamers Haunt. It's 7 minutes north of asheville.
