Provided by YP.comHad a scheduled MRI and it took some time to explain and agree on what my insurance was to pay and what I was to pay. The woman I spoke with was very confused about simple math. Upon arrival the charge to be was still wrong. They wanted me to sign the form with the wrong amount and work it out with a payment plan later. I refused and said this must be worked out before hand. The woman I spoke with in the AM came around the corner and kept insisting I was wrong. They are confused from the start so I would not trust any MRI they do.

Provided by YP.comMy Sister went in for an MRI and completed the surveys and demographic information which included her weight. She was referred by her primary care Provider. When she got there she was never seen by the technician Kenneth as apparently she was too large for the CT scanner. Instead of discussing with my sister and other options, he instead had the clerk tell my sister that she was too big for the machine and she would need to call her doctor. I find this very poor professionalism and not patient centered care at all. We are now attempting to find a scanner to assist in diagnosing an already concerning issue related to an enlarged spleen and elevated liver tests. You would think that a facility that specializes in an open MRI would have capacity for a large person. Or at least would have been contacted after the information was reviewed ahead of time. Isn't this why information is sent in advance? Thanks for the embarrassment and contributing to an already highly stressful situation.

Provided by YP.comI brought my 97 year old father to this facility to have an X-ray of his ankle after a fall. We were turned away because they were too busy and it was late in the day. Bruce, the X-ray technician, said "they will have to come back tomorrow." My father needed a wheelchair because he was unable to walk. The brakes on the wheelchair didn't work!!

Provided by YP.comI'm very disappointed with this practise. They are the epitome of what's so wrong with health care in this country and why so many Americans cannot afford proper health care. They practise medical price gouging to an obsurd & highly unethical level. Practises such as this one drive up insurance premium costs. I recently went in for some basic imaging. This imaging is provided at a cash price of ~$500. When I inquired about the cash price, they told me that if I had health insurance, they are "required" to file a claim through my insurance and cannot give me the cash price. First of all, "how is this true"!?!? Is this really a law!?!? Wow, talk about insurance companies & medical providers working together to take every penny you have. Anyway, they contacted my insurance provider and told me my estimated payment was ~$275. So, I paid them that and got the imaging done. They then proceeded to bill my insurance company over $3400!!!! How does a $500 procedure become a $3400 procedure!?!? In the end, I ended up with a $2400 bill in the mailbox!!!! I contacted them and after about 20 minues of discussion, they said all they could do was reduce it by 10%. I told them I wanted to pay them a fair price and asked them to offer me a fair price. My offer was to pay them $1200 more, in addition to the $275 I had already paid, which would be almost 3x their cash price. They refused. They are taking advantage of every opportunity to inflate medical costs.
