What's the big deal?

I'd been really wanting to try this place - it is ALWAYS slammed, so I anticipated a great meal. What I got was... okay. The wait was VERY long, and the restaurant was very noisy. Not a good place for a quiet, getting-to-know-you date. The interior IS pretty nicely decorated, however. I ordered the country fried steak, and was very disappointed. Cracker Barrel does a MUCH better country fried steak; this one was bland and tasteless. My dining partner let me know her burger was ok; but cripes! Who wants to pay Cheddar's prices for an "okay" burger. I haven't been back, just because I refuse to stand around and wait for mediocre food so I still don't see what the big deal is about Cheddars. What's the attraction?
