Custom Hoists was founded in 1973 as a manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders. These cylinders include single and double-acting telescopic cylinders and single and double-acting stage piston rod cylinders. Its cylinders are used in a wide range of applications such as dump bodies, dump trailers, airline support/service equipment, off-highway equipment, refuse trucks, roll-off units, push-out ejector trailers, compactors, balers and mining equipment. The company has several different models available from stock in six warehouse locations throughout the United States. Custom can also provide prototypes and special cylinder needs for production runs of one or more. Custom Hoist has offices in Ashland, Ohio.
