Contains a comprehensive bulk herbs department, along with plenty of homeopathic meds and chinese herbs. The cheeses are labeled to suit vegetarians as well (thankfully!). The co-op is careful about stocking foods that don't have harmful substances. I appreciate it as it saves me some work.######Admittedly, the co-op has far less than Whole Foods in the Bay Area, however, I find just about everything I want, even obscure things, and without the Whole Foods high price. I've heard that the bulk herbs we have are more than can be found in natural stores in the Portland area.

Ashland Food Co-op is by far the best place to shop for your natural and organic food and household needs. Plus you can grab a meal in their deli or have a juice drink or coffee from the juice bar while you shop. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is always clean.

Ashland Food Cooperative has a fine deli and a sandwich bar. The grocery is a great selection of "green" products, products that are organic. Nice selection of bulk grains and flours. Good wine selection.
