Provided by YP.comI use to work at a company down the street in the Hanover airpark, and Duffy's use to service our trucks. Every time they would do anything for us, we would have another problem with the vehicle almost immediately after.
For example, we brought in a truck that needed work and they fixed it. However they claimed the truck also had a broken motor mount upon their inspection(which isn't why we brought it to them in the first place). Note the truck was showing no signs of a broken motor mount. Well anyway, they Supposedly fixed the motor mount and the charged us for that as well.. After receiving the truck back, we noticed that the truck was making a clunking noise every time you stepped on the throttle.. which is a symptom of a broken motor mount.. which it did NOT show that symptom before!
On another occasion, they left a wheel loose on a F250 pickup, and the work they preformed on that truck didn't require removing wheels.. Why they removed the wheel is a mystery, and they managed to leave all 8 lugs loose. We didn't know a loose wheel was the problem until after diving the truck 30+ miles across town. We could have been killed had the wheel fell off.
On several occasions I have walked into the front office to pickup a truck and the man himself, Billy Duffy, is the only guy at the front of the office.. Do NOT expect to be greeted by the boss man! He will just stand there and not say a word to you. Not a hello, no how are you doing, nothing! He will instead wait for another one of his staff to do that for him, even if you're waiting for more than 30 seconds.. You would expect more..
Last but certainly not least, They are very pricey. If you want to pay out the a** for loose wheels, clunking "fixed" motor mounts, and very poor customer service, then Duffy's auto repair is your place.

Provided by YP.comI found Duffy's in the hardcopy yellowpages last year. They have done all of our work since. The staff is attentive and thorough. They spend whatever amount of time it takes, to ensure you understand what is going on with your vehicle and what it takes to fix it. I've never got the feeling that I was being taken advantage of (like other places I've been in the past). I'm also impressed with the display of all the classes their mechanics have attended. It proves that they can take care of any type of vehicle (or issue) no matter the problem.
I'll be using Duffy's for all of my car care in the future!

Provided by YP.comI've been going to Duffy's for about 10 years if not more. They have a group of people that are like no other. They take the time to look over your vehicle to asure nothing else is wrong with it. To me, that's careing about your safety . And for the price, they are no different then any other service repair shop. What makes Duffy's stand out from the others is , Customer service and satisfaction. A1 in my book

Provided by YP.comWe have been getting our cars serviced at Duffy's since 1992. They have done everything from replacing a burned out transmission in a Mazda 626, routine oil changes, and rehabilitating a 1965 Mustang. Excellent service, concern about costs, and friendly, knowledgeable staff, and an owner that takes a personal interest in customers and their vehicles.
Can't find a better place.
