I have lived in Astoria my entire life and Alba's was always the place to go. I ordered take out twice this year and was terribly disappointed both times. I ordered the small antipasta and the lettuce was wilted, dressing and veggies tasted terrible. I recently ordered a small pie and it was HORRIBLE, tasteless, old and dry! The chicken pieces were thrown on top and not baked fresh with the pie. The chicken was hard and dry. What happened to this restaurant I do not know, but unfortunately I will not be returning!

Delicious italian food. Highly recommend the chicken marsala, fettucini alfrado and mediteranean salad. It seems like albas is always packed latlley. I recommend making a reservation on their back dining room especially for partys of four or more.
