Provided by YP.comI've had several haircuts with several of their barbers at Nick's II (on 28th) and I have to say that I will not return, despite the convenience in location. My hair is usually parted to the side, nothing crazy. As the back and sides were long and messy, I asked for a taper to go with my long hair (gradual shortening of the hair as it goes down) and to keep the overall length of the top.The barber proceeded to give me a tight taper in the bottom that resembled a low fade/blowout. After telling him this was not the cut I wanted, and explaining again what I wanted, he ended up giving me a fade taper. All the while saying it's no big deal as it would grow out. Utterly unprofessional and I will never return to him, let alone their shop. Two stars because I enjoyed one cut with one of the barbers, who could never replicate what he did. A taper is a classic and popular cut. How can they get it wrong?!

Provided by YP.comA friend of mine recommended Nick's to me a while back and I've been hooked ever since. The barbers, Roman and John, are both extremely professional and exceptionally talented. Throughout the years, I've changed my choice of haircut many times, and they never fail to perfect whatever it is I ask for; no matter how complicated.
Inside, the place is comfortable, welcoming, and even entertaining (they have a huge plasma screen television!!)
Nick's also has a great selection of very reasonably priced salon products and razorblades, which I purchase exclusively from them. So, overall, I'm a fan of Nick's Barber Shop II and after this, I hope you will be, too. Trust me, you won't regret it.
