Dr. Roy Chen (and assistant Robyn) needed to work on 3 of my teeth. I've had cleaning and checkups done with Tyack, this was my first time having work done. Dr. Chen was professional, kind, gentle, understanding and he even had a sense of humor. Robyn (spelling?) was also very professional and good at her job. No one (probably) likes to go to the dentist to have work done, but my experience with Tyack was quite good. A very professional and comfortable experience.

My father went in a few weeks ago. He has not been to a dentist in over 10 years. You can only imagine the condition of his teeth. He works three jobs due to my mother being a recent quadriplegic. He has not had the time or money to see a dentist. He had a horrendous tooth infection a few weeks ago. I called asking if I could possibly make a payment on my fathers account without him knowing. They said not a problem. They got him in immediately and helped him and didn't make him uncomfortable, unwelcome, or like a "lesser person" because he doesn't have much money. What they did was work with him. They set up a payment plan and everything. I am VERY VERY pleased with this dentist. I would recommend him to any one and everyone. When people offer a helping hand these days it is rare. I appreciate all your office does and what you do. Thank you so much!

What an ill trained, rude, and money grubbing group of "professionals" I have ever had the misfortune of hiring. (Yes I mean hire. I paid UPFRONT for services I did not receive.)

I needed a simple tooth extraction and was quoted a price which sounded reasonable. They required payment at time of service. I paid.

After waiting neatly 90 minutes for my scheduled appointment, I choose to come back another time as I needed to pick up my child from school.
I explained this to the desk person and asked for my money back.
While she was happy to r/s appt (there was an opening on 6 weeks), She could not issue me a refund and that the money I paid that day would be applied to work done at my next appt. or to my current out standing charge.
I said this was the first time I was ever in the office and had no outstanding balance.
She informed me that if I left before being seen, it was considered a missed appt and I would be charged.
Let us just say it went downhill from there.

If you need a tooth pulled, save your money and your sanity and use a piece of strong string tied to a door knob.

Robert Makela, 4 months I wasted my time! for a set of dentures I wouldn't give to an ape . The entire staff is rude and lacks any form of compassion. Then to top it all off all the work is done by assistants I told them to keep my dentures.

I highly recommend Tyack Dental!!! We recently visited their office because our son had a dental emergency. This was his very first visit to the Dentist and considering the amount of pain he was having I was very concerned that this experience would traumatize him for life!! But thanks to Dr. Tyack the opposite happened :) Our little boy was treated with such compassion. Dr. Tyack and his assistant talked to our son every step of the way and explained to our little guy that they were going to get rid of the mean sugar bugs!!! Our visit went better than myself or husband could have expected!!! I also was impressed with Kelli (a girl in the front office). She was so helpful too. She got us in the same day we called. Plus she not only helped calm our son but helped calm me down too!!! Thank you To Dr. Tyack and Staff for taking a very stressful ordeal and making it a whole lot better!!!!!

I won't even give them one star but it wouldn't let me post this without at least one. I won't send my worst enemy here it is a meat locker!!! My husband went there to get 6 teeth pulled charge over $1000 and he had bone spurs that they didn't remove and it took over 3 months to get his bottom plate.They give you a price and in the end you pay at least $300 more. They will charge you twice as much it would be better to go to Longview or Portland. They want payment before services are even render and don't value your time if they keep you waiting at least 30 minutes late its no big deal they got there money that is all that matters to them. They give you a receipt without any information listed on it. They are very rude in the billing department. They lie about what the money they get from care credit saying that they are paying the interest when it is interest free for the 1st year. They make your bill look like they have given you a discount but in all reality they don't. They are one of the biggest rip off companies in town.

All they are after is money. I took my whole family one day and they came up with this big list of stuff they wanted to do to us. They wanted to do a root canal on my 8yr old son! On a baby tooth, which fell out a week later! After that, I did not take my family back to finish! I was shocked!
