An Oasis in out in the country...

I'm not sure when La Esquinita opened, but it looks beautiful and a stand out out here south of San Antonio!

My family & I have been there a few times already for breakfast and ... LOVE EVERY PART OF IT! I am quite partial to anything with chicharrones... The chichrron & egg tacos are FABULOUS and above average in size. The Carne Guisada gets back to basics and delivers a great taste of nostalgia combined with juicy chuncks of beef. My In-Laws brought over left overs the other day; 5 Taquitos de pureco with cilantro and onions... I was shaken to my very knees in my own home... FABULOUS!

This South Texan is a believer in La Esquinita! Check it out!



The ONLY 2 items that need tweaking are the CHILAQUILES and the Menudo.... Don't get me wrong, they are good, but a near by competitor has both perfected...
