Eastern fusion meets the South!



We pleasantly stumbled upon this place on a busy Saturday night during high school prom season and luckily scored a table in the bar. Even though it was packed, the service was great and there was no attitude from the staff about having our kids with us. (It's a bit fancy for most kids, but my kids are adventurous eaters.)



You must try the fried chevre, which is a mix of goat cheese and cream cheese with a touch of mango, lightly breaded and fried. Served with toast points and basil-poblano dressing. So good, though a bit pricey at $10 a pop.



I had the special that night - sheephead fish grilled and served over lightly battered veggie patties and topped with greens. It really was exquisite in looks and in taste.

My kids had gourmet versions of ramen and grilled cheese, classic comfort food done up in an arty way for the grownups.



I would definitely recommend bringing out of town guest, especially your parents if your a UGA student.
