We have rented with Joiner and Associates for the last three years. We wouldn't rent with anyone else. They have been helpful with every aspect of our move and very responsive to any of the issues we needed with repairs or questions. The home inspections were done in a timely and respectful manner. So easy to work with!

I will only rent or buy from joiner and associates. They are always kind and caring and go above and beyond to take care of me and my family when we have issues. Highly recommend Joiner and Associates!

DO NOT rent from Joiner Associates.

Above all, they did not follow state law concerning walk-through inspections or return of security deposit within 30 days. They tried to nickel and dime me by taking $50 out of my security deposit on two separate instances for not "taking a wet cloth" to a screen porch floor and then for repairing a screen on the porch which had already been repaired. The first instance was outside the parameters of the lease and the second outside state law since it was more than a month after the move-out inspection.

On more of a personal level, they treated me with no respect or privacy. They would show up at my house unannounced. They dined across the street with my neighbors and then emailed to comment on my xmas tree. They sent emails demanding that I share my Pandora station. In the middle of my lease they removed premium cable stations without advising me. They emailed after move-out asking for my forwarding address although I had given it to them prior and referred to my new residence as "wherever it is" suggesting that because I no longer lived in their house that my new residence was of no importance.

These people are pretentious, rude and greedy.

My wife and I have been with Joiner and Associates since 2013, and each time we had an issue maintenance wise, all I had to do was to contact Joiner and within one to two days the issue was taken care of. Hank Joiner and the Joiner family have always been professional in every manner of the way they handle their business responsibilities. I would highly recommend the Joiner family to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Great and friendly service. Very accommodating and very pleasant to rent from. Excellent management and very easy going which made me feel comfortable and as if I were working with a friend rather than a businessman. I was very pleased with how responsive the management team was and I was able to resolve any issue I had in a timely manner

DO NOT RENT FROM JOINER. My roomate and i just moved out from their Mathis building and we could not be happier. Yes they tell you you can conveniently pay online, but they are going to charge you $21 "service fee." My roommate and i lived with a jammed door for months, and the building had fleas. I personally had to go buy stuff to kill fleas because they said that it was "an old building and there was nothing they could do." They also took out $110 dollars from our security deposit, even though we left the place in better condition than when we moved in. They are awful, my worst experience in athens so far. They deserve less than a star. DO NOT RENT FROM JOINER.

These people are rude, unprofessional, and slow to respond. My fiance had to threaten litigation in order to get them to make substantial repairs. Due to their negligence, she had health problems that were exacerbated. Even now, they are being slow to respond on repairs - we are seriously considering litigation against them. Do not rent from them - you'll regret it.

I love the convenience of paying rent online. Quick responses to my emails and service requests. The Joiner staff is extremely warm and friendly. I'm always treated like a friend and neighbor, not just a client. I've rented several places in town, and without a doubt they are the best realty company in Athens.(Do not confuse with Joiner Management. These great folks are on Prince Ave.)
