Havar is a private, nonprofit corporation operating in Athens and Washington Counties in Ohio. Since 1972, the organization has been providing community-based supports to citizens with developmental disabilities. It also provides services to people with disabilities at home through autism resource center, supported living and homemaker care, person-centered planning, service coordination, day programs, and passport and children services. In addition, it provides opportunities for consumers to participate in a variety of community programs. These opportunities include People First Chapters and Advocates For Public Policy Change.
