My grandmother has been to rehab on three separate occasions over the last 2 years. Our first two nursing home experiences were "okay", but "okay" is not good enough when it comes to my grandmother. When it was determined that she would need rehab again, her doctor recommended Park Highland. When I went to tour the facility I initially was reluctant because from the street I could tell the building was well maintained, but it clearly was not a new building. However, when I toured my initial opinion of the building was not an issue because of what I witnessed inside. No, the building is not new, but it is clean and well maintained. After I toured we decided to try Park Highlands. I will tell you in regards to my grandmother's healthcare this was the best decision we ever made as a family. During her stay I witnessed care that is second to none. The therapy she received was excellent. Her stay at Park Highland was shorter than her previous rehab stays at 2 other nursing homes. Additionally, her results allowed her to be stronger and more independent than she was 2 years ago. She is now living independently at home. I highly recommend Park Highland based on the quality care and excellent outcome I witnessed during my grandmother's rehab stay.
