Highly overpriced deep fried mushrooms.

We love deep fried mushrooms (along with pizzas, subs, etc) from a lot of places. We are visiting from out of town (and we eat out daily 2 to 3x) and this was our first experience with Friendly Town Pizza. We wanted to give them a try and opted to go with only the deep fried mushrooms to get a feel for their store. While they made an honest effort at cooking them the way we wanted, they fell short of all the other places (Orange, MA - Killeen, TX - Copperas Cove, TX, and South Korea) where we have enjoyed mushrooms. The final kicker was the price $7 for an order of mushrooms. On paper that didn't look too bad; they are $6 in Orange and $5.99 in Killeen (at a major Restaurant that uses egg wash to make their mushrooms). Like I said on paper that looked ok. When we got home and looked them over there were 14, yes fourteen mushrooms in that order. That is right, around half of what we get everywhere else and F.T.P. is more $$. I'm betting they are charging $.50/mushroom. Needless to say, they will not get our business again. I will drive to the next town over to get the mushrooms, pizzas and sandwiches. From where we stay, the drive to either store is about the same. The pizzas and subs are great over in Orange.
