This is my go to store for not only finding items the big box stores don't carry anymore, but also for the fact that just walking in the door the staff is so helpful, glad to see you and treats you with respect and attentiveness. I was hoping to pick up a specific shop vac that wasn't in the store. They had it in the store for me to pick up within two days, wouldn't accept payment for it ahead of time as most stores now require, I wasn't able to get there for a few days after the pick up date due to schedule changes but they held on to it for me. It's nice to get personalized service these days, to go into a store and have personnel care that you have taken the time to shop there, and understand that you are spending your hard earned money with them. It isn't a big box store, but in so many ways they carry as much, if not more than the big box stores do, because they have variety; and if they don't have it they can tell you where to get it. Stop in and see them; it's a great find.

I always have a great experience at ACE. I think perhaps the prices are a bit higher than HD, but the excellent customer service at ACE more than makes up for it. I don't have to wander around looking for items - a friendly employee leads me exactly to the right products, and then tells me exactly how to use/install them! Love this place. Five stars!!!!
