Provided by YP.comI've driven by Agave at least a hundred times, but only visited recently. When I tried and enjoyed the free chips and salsa, I knew I was in for a treat.
The Peachtree Margarita knocked my socks off. The guacamole was fresh. And my entree of scallops, grits, and collard greens were amazing! I somehow saved some for my husband to try, and he insisted that we go back so that he could have more. We returned soon after I brought home the leftovers, and once again the food was delicious and the margaritas were potent.
It just goes to show that you should give those places you see all the time a try, at least once. You never know what foodie treasures you'll find!

Provided by YP.comAll I can say is WOW! Great atmosphere, margaritas, service and food! I had the Pan Seared Tuna which was amazing. My husband had a special that came with Brussels sprouts. He was not very excited about the side until he tasted them. I have never had Brussels sprouts taste so good! Great place for a date night. Make sure you have a reservation.

Provided by YPmobileThe menu here is so incredibly different from any other restaurant I've ever been to. The food is great and I even like the odd decore and location of the place. I really enjoyed this place.

Provided by YPmobileNot the first time either. We have been waiting 20 minutes for spinach dip as an appetizer and that is after waiting 15 to order...

The atmosphere is laid back yet sophisticated and the food is wonderful!
Everything is always fresh, the flavors are incredible, the servings are generous and ~ it is so easy to fall in love here. If I were able to do so, I would eat here every day.
*agave's mashed potatoes are my ultimate comfort food.

Provided by YP.comAgave is consistently one of my favorites in Atlanta. The southwest cuisine paired with the perfect Margarita can keep the taste buds wanting more. The atmosphere has a southwest flair with dim lighting and some candles throughout. During the winter months, you can usually find a fire in the large fireplace to add to the comfortable surroundings.
Agave can also easily accomodate parties of 40 to 50 on the enclosed back patio area which you wouldnt expect from passing by on the street. Staff and Management are responsive and thankful for your visit.

Provided by YP.comHad dinner at Agave for the first time last week and was pleased with the food, drink and service. To echo another post, the margarita's are excellent (pay a little extra for the bartender's favorite as it's incredibly smooth). Sound levels are reasonable as they have several different rooms.
Per the server's recommendation, I had the beef tenderloins which were very good but did have a little peppery kick. The mashed potatoes and green beans were fine but nothing wondeful. I had a sizeable piece of key lime pie that was very good and fresh.
If possible, I would have given Agave a 3.5 but the margarita's pushed it to 4 starts. Wouldn't rush back but will go back as we had a good experience with good food.

Provided by YP.comThe ambiance of this restaurant is perfect and each time that we have gone, the food has been great. I especially enjoy the extensive tequila list ! If you plan to visit, you must have a margarita (doesn't matter what kind :-))!

Provided by YP.comThis is a gem of a restaurant that could cop far more of an attitude than they do. The food is delicious and very well presented by a very friendly staff. The Tenderloin Medalions and Sashimi Pan Seared Tuna are favorites, and the Cayenne Fried Chicken puts an elegant spin on a fine comfort food. I imagine that the chips and salsa are prepared there because they're always so fresh, the thick crunchy kind. They're great with a margarita (from the margarita menu book) but don't fill up on them! It's a very popular spot now, so you'll want to get reservations if you don't slip in early in the evening.
