Provided by YP.comJeff checked and repaired my Fender tube amp quickly and correctly. He replaced the two prong plug with a grounded plug and replaced all the capacitors. The price was fair and much less than two other repair centers I contacted. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Provided by YP.comI've known about Jeff Andrews for a number of years, but being primarily a bassist with mostly solid state gear, never turned to him. Recently my main gig amp, a Carvin "RedLine Cyclops" that has an integrated 600W all solid state amp w/tube emulation preamp stage, up and quit. I called Jeff and discovered that he would now work on such non-tube gear.
Being in the service world myself, I found his up front charge for inspection/evaluation entirely fair. After all, without good information about what's the problem, how can one intelligently decide what to do next. And while I've got pretty fair experience w/tools and electronics, I sure as heck don't have the kind of analytical gear - or understanding of what to look for beyond a blown fuse or frayed wires to "DIY." Jeff found the problem (aged, dirty ribbon cable that was not transmitting signal properly), fixed it quickly, and charged me no more then the up front fee.
This is the kind of open ended transaction that many would take advantage of to squeeze a little more profit out a customer. Jeff wants his customers for life. He's got one in me!
