Provided by YP.comWe used this company for D.O.T. inspections in the past and never had any problems with them until a week ago their guy David came and wrote us a bill for $375 for 30 minutes of work. He was supposed to send us an estimate later on for some repairs but got very upset why are we unhappy with the charges. So he decided to give us an advise how to behave ourselves. I guess if this company wants to stay in business they need to teach their people to simple rules of customer service.

Provided by YP.comThey do good work, but they need some customer service skills and they gouge you for parts, 150%+ of what they pay for them, and gouge you for labor, they include travel time to procure parts which isn't totally unreasonable in theory, but it takes them 3 hours to go 25 miles in each direction, 50 miles round trip? Then say they had to go to multiple places for parts, i had already called the place they were getting the parts from and was told had all parts there for $90, charged me $240, also charged me for mileage $1.50 per mile, charged me for 50 miles, exact distance to the place that said it had all the parts(Atlanta Safety Brake). So, they could have worked 2 other jobs in that time and charged me for all that time or taken a long lunch. When I told them I called Atlanta Safety Brake to get an idea about the availability and cost of needed parts, and that shop said they had all the parts and sold that exact item early that morning. I called Atlanta Safety Brake at 11:10, Atlanta Fleet Service left the scene at 7:42 after 20 minutes of work.. Rich of Atlanta Fleet services said I was a *ickhead, twice. Guess as the customer and being from out of town, I'm supposed to just take it without seeing if I'm paying too much. Total cost $809, $400 for labor, $75 for travel mileage., $75 service call and $240 for parts. Actual labor time 50 minutes, maybe an hour for procurement time, since the shop was 25 minutes away from scene. Parts actual $90 from Atlanta Safety Brake. I was told I'm not from Atlanta so I can't know how long it takes to get anywhere, but they charged me for 50 miles. It took 3 hours to go 50 miles? And I'm the *ickhead.
