Ok, so this is how awesome Bavarian Imports and the owner-Mike are regarding service. I've had a small fleet of BMWs and I go to Mike and not dealerships even if I have a warranty, because Mike and his team are BMW Certified Mechanics. Not only do they have all required tools to fix your Bimmer but everyone there has a lot of experience.
Since Mike and I have an incredible relationship, I asked him to please look at my Mother's 2000 9.3 SaaB. He said, "my techs will kill me if I show up with a Saab, but I will do it for you." They spent of lot of time and energy before referring Saab to SJ Automtive on Howell Mill RD. SJ are certified SaaB Mechanics and can actually get certified SaaB parts even though SaaB are no longer built. I have a great review for them coming up but back to Bavarian, Mike and team even went so far as to download codes for this SaaB before discovering he just couldn't get it going. After all, his focus is on BMWs. So he just sent car to SJ Automotive and has not even pinged me to discuss the tow to SJ or charges for work on SaaB. I recommend Bavarian as an exclusive BMW go to shop. Call them. You will be pleasantly surprised at how quickly they get you in and how reasonable repairs are, even if under warranty. Thanks again for reading this...now go call Bavarian!!!

I've been using Bavarian Imports since 1999 when I purchased my 1st BMW 325i and I've had nothing but good things to say about this shop. They've always fixed everything right, the first time and at less than the dealer's rates with better personal service.

I'm now on my 5th BMW (recently had a pre purchase inspection completed) and Global Imports is still my shop of choice. The owner Mike Lembcke knows BMW's and that absolutely counts in my book!

After receiving less than stel...

After receiving less than stellar service my first time here (part was locked in a mechanic's car who called in sick for 2 days, leaving me without a car for 4 days), I used Bavarian again when my car starting making a sound like I was driving a riding lawnmower.

I was advised, after the shop had my car for 2 days before Thanksgiving, that there were 2 problems needing to be fixed, and that one was more important than the other.

My car broke down completely 2 days after picking it up from this shop.

Now, they claim that the issue they told me wasn't pressing is why my car is now almost beyond repair. Also, they claim to have no knowledge of ever telling me that this problem could wait 4 to 6 weeks to be fixed.

I'm having to have my car towed to another mechanic to be looked at and am having to seek legal recourse. I am extremely disappointed to have trusted my car's care to this shop, and am now car-less because of it.

Suspicious Service

I took my 2004 325i BMW car to Bavarian Imports to get a cam shaft sensor repaired on my automobile. They repaired the problem, but when I got it back my setting for the seats were different. They were reset to a much taller person and the window control was not in the driver's position. I thought the mechanic probably adjusted them. However, when I attempted to reset them the mirrors weren't working.

I called the service manager and he asked that we bring it in. The service manager who just yesterday was reassuring was already defensive and nervous. They immediately said they did nothing to the car and all of a sudden they could not find the problem. He went from maybe its the fuse to its the computer and it would take 2 hours to find the problem. Really? It didn't take them that long to find the cam shaft and coil problem. Now all of a sudden my computer module is blocked.

All I know is when I delivered it to them it was working and when I went to pick it up it wasn't. The owner of the auto shop refused to even talk to us. Before this incident, I had just paid them $450 for the cam shaft plus an additional problem they diagnosed. Because of this incident I now feel suspicious about their find.

I just noticed another rater on this site with a similar experience. Stay away from this company.
