Provided by YP.comI scheduled a viewing and 20 minutes before my appointment, I get a voice-mail saying that they have to move it back 30 minutes. When I get to the property no one is there! When I called it was on hold for 5 minutes (while they crafted their story) and was told that the agent drove by and then left.
When I called to speak with the woman, who's name they wouldn't/couldn't give- I was put on hold again.
This is a TERRIBLE organization.

Provided by YP.comThe apartment locations are good, but the apartments themselves are falling apart at the seams. The initial rent they promise will seem fairly reasonable, but be warned. After 12 months, they jack up the rent 10% or more.
If you ever need to get ahold of anyone for any reason, good luck. The only people who are ever in the office are people who "can't help" with whatever issue you have. You can leave a message, but fat chance of someone calling you back. You can send an email, but it takes them days, if not a week or more to respond.
I've been renting apartments for about 10 years now and this is the worst experience I've had. There are plenty of more reasonably priced, better apartments out there. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comI rue the day I signed a lease at Collier Flats apartments. What seemed like a great bargain on in town living has blown up in my face. No amount of savings is worth your safety and sanity. Since Collier Flats is a bargain, I have been very patient with the smaller things, like the complete lack of water pressure or the pet stations that are literally overflowing with dog feces. So I am two months into my lease and upon coming home one evening subsequently tripped over several items placed on my neighbor's porch (decorative urn, bike, several plants, table) and injured my ankle. Since the lease clearly states that residents are to have no items on the porch, I contacted Braden Fellman in hopes of a resolution so no one else would be injured. The property managers, Venus and Jessica, acted like it was a complete imposition for me to ask that my neighbors belongings to be moved. I had to ask persistently for over three weeks for anything to be accomplished and they have still allowed the neighbor to keep most of the bulky items on the porch. Braden Fellman does not care that I was injured. Braden Fellman only exists to rent apartments. Whatever happens after you sign the lease is not their concern.
The management does not care about their tenants or providing a clean, safe environment. There are rat traps at the end of every building and I found a dead one in a cabinet when I moved in. Trash is sprinkled throughout the complex and cockroaches run rampant. I even had a roach run across my foot one night in the parking lot. So pleasant!!!
There is no on site daily maintenance and you can definitely tell. Neighbors have trash, and whatever else that can not fit in their apartments, strewn all over their porches. A couple of families also live in the complex and turn the central parking lot into a playground. They run about and while it is incredibly dangerous, it is also incredibly loud. I have come home and almost hit a child running about and frolicking through the parked cars on more than one occasion. Talk about give you a heart attack! They are also quite loud and let their children exercise their lungs right outside of your window. The apartments are old, so the insulation is not so great. It lets in lots of noise and you can easily hear your neighbors. It is also not helpful from an energy perspective as my cooling bill for my 800 sq ft apartment ran ~300 dollars the month of August. While I understand it was hot, the AC never went off. It should also be noted that the joint water/sewer bill that you pay (split equally between the apartments in the community) is not ~60 dollars/ month as quoted by Venus when I moved in but rather 80-90 dollars/month, making the bargain not such a bargain. So as a single person, I split the difference with all of the families crammed into these tiny apartments in water. In my last place I paid ~25 dollars/ month for water/sewage in a place of my own. Now I pay over three times that. Absurd!
So all in all, Collier Flats is dirty, unsafe, loud and the property management is worthless. Take your money elsewhere. I wish I had, but now I will just be counting down the days until I can move out of this hellhole.

The experience started out great - the apartment was in a nice location, there was a tennis court and a pool, and the management seemed friendly. This all changed the second year in the apartment. First, the tennis court was destroyed with no warning to put in another parking lot. Second, a few months later (and prior to Labor Day - when everyone goes swimming), the pool was unexpectedly drained and closed. When I asked property management about it, they played dumb and said they had no idea why it was closed but would figure it out. Fast forward three months, and when you look at the parking lot it is one big jackhammered mess - making way for NEW TOWNHOMES in the middle of the apartment complex. Third, when I moved into the apartment, utilities (aside from electric and gas) were included in the rental price. Now, all utilties costs are passed on to residents. If you want a water bill for $100/month, be my guest. You are paying for community water as well - you already pay $1.25 to wash your clothes, but you are also paying for that water. It just rained? You will also pay for the sprinklers that run every single day... to the point where the property is constantly flooded. Your utility bills will also be high because the apt complex was built in the 1920s - aka single pane windows. Expect your electric bill to be at least $200/month in the summer. This place will never get my recommendation.
