We opened our doors, September of 2016, in The Shops of Buckhead Atlanta, a world-renowned luxe brand shopping destination located in the heart of Buckhead. Our gallery specializes in contemporary fine art by established talented artists from across the United States. Karimah McFarlane, is excited to continue cultivating and creating a welcoming environment for art viewing and acquisitions previously cultivated by Hutton Snellings & Katie Jones. The 4,000 square foot gallery exhibits paintings in an open setting with high ceilings and pristine white walls. Demand for the work of its artists has established the gallery as a destination for fine art. Most Buckhead Art & Company artists accept commissions through the gallery creating a tailored client experience. Karimah McFarlane, an Atlanta native, graduated from Howard University in D.C. with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Economics. McFarlane was The Head of Market Human Resources for Southeastern US Google for two years, a Googler for four years, and an Atlanta Site Leadership team member. A few years ago, she co-founded and became CEO of Akinship, a professional networking platform for Black, Indigenous, and POC(People of Color) to share experiences and transfer knowledge and Human Resources Consulting Agency. Alongside her measurable successes and industry accolades, Karimah is a respected community and cultural activist. Notably, she is on the leadership council for The Fernbank Museum and sits on the Workforce Fulton County board and the CHRIS 180 board. Karimah is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
