The Coca-Cola Company is the world's largest nonalcoholic beverage company. The first Coca-Cola syrup was produced in Atlanta in 1886 by Dr. John Stith Pemberton, a local pharmacist. E. Neville Isdell has been the chief executive officer of Coca-Cola for more than two years. He has been with the soft drink conglomerate for over 40 years. Isdell attended the University of Cape Town. The company is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol KO. It is headquartered in Atlanta and operates subsidiaries worldwide.
