In 1958, Chevrolet Corvettes sold for $3600. A gallon of gas was 30 cents. Minimum wage was $1. A stamp was 3 cents. Dwight D. Eisenhower was President and Richard M. Nixon was Vice President. Cole's Transmission Service in Hapeville, GA opened for business a mile from Atlanta Municipal Airport, which, at the time had 25 passenger gates for planes. Most everything has changed dramatically in over 50 years. Cole's Transmission Service is still in the same location and is still owned and operated by the same family. The great transmission service that your great grandfather depended on is what still keeps Cole's Transmissions in business.

I've been very impressed and pleased with the honesty and fair pricing at Coles tranmission.
They were recommended by a relative that is a mechanic. They rebuilt the transmission in my 98 Dodge Grand Caravan and did exactly as quoted. An honest repairman (I can't emphasize enough).
The old school of just do it right the first time and at a fair price.
