We are so glad we went with DJ Ameet for our wedding. He was very easy to get in touch with as needed while we were wedding planning and he was able to get done what we asked of him quickly and efficiently. During the event, the music was really great throughout and this was especially evident at the reception. The music for the entrances and dances was seamless and once the dance floor opened up, people were there the entire time!

Ameet is the best DJ in town. Amazing bollywood remixes spinning all night. He has this art of mixing 90s bollywood with new songs and that brings best of both decades.
His last gig at Havana simply rocked the night club.

DJ Ameet was professional, organized, friendly and energetic from the very 1st time we met him all the way throughout our wedding itself and even after as he shared his videos and photos of the event with us via his Facebook account. Right from the beginning and all throughout the process, we felt that we were being taken care of. His service is fully personalized and he provides excellent wedding planning services which we did not have to hire external vendor for. From helping us plan the pacing of the events in the evening, to the music selection, to the up lighting and music selections, he listened to us and provided us options and advice that fit within our preferences. He gave suggestions where necessary but was never imposing. He was extremely responsive and adaptable, promptly answering our questions and confirming our last-minute changes in the weeks leading up to our event without any issue.

One the Wedding and the reception day the setup was awesome, the up lighting really enhanced the look of our venue and the music/sound quality was amazing and capable of fulfilling every request that was made. As he always mentions you get what you pay for. He was in control the entire evening of our wedding, pacing the night perfectly and remaining energetic and involved in the party. He created a perfect flow and ambiance to the event and thanks to DJ Ameet we were able to enjoy the evening that much more as we knew everything else was in his capable hands. DJ Ameet was the best DJ we could have hired for our wedding. We were impressed with DJ Ameet from the first day we met with him, he was helpful and responsive throughout the process. We were very last-minute in planning and returned the song list and itinerary to him the day before the wedding and it still went flawlessly. He did a great job with the MCing of the event as well. Ameet was incredible and a huge part of why our wedding was so successful. He had the crowd up on their feet for our entrance. Even while we were sitting up on the stage, we whispered changes to our itinerary to him and he handled it seamlessly, no one could tell. He was a consummate professional. He made the entire evening easier and less stressful for us. There is not one song I would’ve changed, from the background music while eating to the dance floor (Top40/Bhangra/Bollywood mix). Our friends and family were raving about him the next day. We had a fusion Indian-American wedding and it was a perfect mixture. My husband Bryan was impressed at what he did at the event. Ameet also did an awesome job with lighting as well. We loved how the lighting was done with the music but weren’t overwhelming or obnoxious. We would recommend Ameet to everyone and will definitely use him again in the future if we have another event. Great Job!

Hey DJ Ameet,

Just wanted to drop in a quick email. I was referred to you by my friend who had seen you performing at one of your Bollywood Nights at Twisted Taco in Dunwoody. I remember talking to you about my May Wedding in December and January. I still remember your amazing attitude towards the whole wedding process and your over friendly but genuine and sincere concern towards our wedding. I was initially concerned with your over friendly behavior however later I realized that it was a part of your personality and not a marketing gimmick.

Having that said I just realized a very old saying that you pay for what you get and you get what you pay for. I had found another two DJ's who was charging less and knowing our Indian attitude of saving few hundreds of dollars I did not go with you and went with the cheaper DJ, thinking it was a great deal for less money and I would have variety in my music. I personally wanted to say that it was the biggest mistake I did for my wedding and will have to live with it for the rest of my life.

The first DJ for my Sangeet had no clues of what he was doing, apparently later realized he was a student who had recently acquired some DJ equipment and was making his way through college. The restaurant had recommended him since he was reasonably priced. Now the second DJ claimed that he was doing this for 10 plus years at the Reception messed up the song list and was extremely rude to the guests and did not take any requests. Not to mention our reception was dead by 10pm.

I truly wanted to let you know that despite not choosing you I will recommend you for future events to my friends. will definitely keep you in mind for my future events like baby shower and kids birthday which I do not see happening for next 5 years. LOL.

We have DJ Ameet to thank for helping us throw such an amazing and unforgettable wedding reception. I would never have predicted that ALL our family and friends would be dancing all night long! DJ Ameet put together such an amazing playlist of songs that our guests could not resist. We have had so many people tell us that they have not had that much fun in a long time. It was such great feeling to hear that everyone had thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Ameet was right on cue about song selection, timing, mood, volume, etc throughout the entire night – cocktail hour was mellow, dinnertime music was appropriate, and the post-dinner dance party was perfect. I can’t express how much fun we had that night – and the atmosphere that Ameet set had so much to do with that. He is so nice, professional, passionate about music, and trusting. We read great reviews from our other vendors who see him in action regularly and now I know why! Thanks so much Ameet! We will definitely come back to you for all our DJ needs in the future!!

An Amazingly Humble DJ - Highly Recommended him for any event.

I am originally from New York and just got married in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago, and DJ Ameet and his team did an amazing job as our wedding DJ. He actually provided service at our rehearsal dinner, my Baraat, the Wedding ceremony, and the Wedding Reception. Ours was a mixed wedding my husband is white and I am of Indian origin.

I can assure you he was professional and easy to work with, had great equipment, but the real reason I'm writing this review is because the party at the reception was sick. We got so many compliments on the music. We told him we wanted to a mix of 30% indo, 70% hip hop/ dance, and he stuck to it perfectly. Even better- his mixes were incredible. I think he produces them himself- mixing Indian and hip hop together. Definitely stuff we had not heard before- and really great dance music.

The dance floor was crowded until 2AM, when unfortunately we had to leave. That's exactly what we wanted at our wedding reception- an all out party until the end of the night- including all the aunties and uncles. I've been to a lot of Indian weddings, and Ameet has got to be the best Indian wedding DJ I've ever seen.

DJ Ameet is one of the most personable DJs we have ever met! During our first meeting, he was so welcoming, friendly and attentive to our needs. He gave us very honest and helpful feedback which reassured us that it wasn't "all about the money" for him. My husband and I believe that music is one of the key factors which make/break the wedding experience for guests and Ameet work blew everyone out of the water. From the baraat to the ceremony to the reception entrance and to the open dance floor, his skill with song selection, mixing music and song selection was absolutely stellar. He is also an amazing MC- everyone was able to hear him clearly. Ameet has been the DJ for our family weddings and our referrals are a testament of how much we love his work! We would LOVE to relive our wedding day to relive the music and dancing! DJ Ameet is truly the BEST!!

DJ Ameet is very professional and regularly rocks Atlanta. He is always so willing to take input from his clients and transform their most important and treasured moments into a " Magical Moment". Which he did for my daughter's wedding. He is the Catalyst that brings the young and the old onto the dance floor with his varied selection of music. I would recommend him to all my family and friends for all occasions as no event is big or small....they are all equally important to us and him.

DJ Ameet recently covered my wedding, and I was not at all satisfied with the overall result. While he is high energy and enthusiastic, he tends to push his opinions on you and I really had to push for what I wanted.

What he did for our baraat and ceremony was really nice. I think everyone had a great time and he kept our ceremony interesting with instrumental and Bollywood music.

The reception, however, was another story.
Ameet had to leave before my reception because of a family emergency. I believe he knew he was going to have to leave and withheld that information from us. I understood the situation and that he had to leave, but I was upset that he didn't tell me, my husband, or our families that he was leaving. He left his wife and brother in law in charge (neither of whom are DJs), and the service just wasn't the same as it had been in the morning.

His wife had a horrible attitude, snapped at me when I confronted her about not adhering to my original reception agenda, and drank from our open bar. She also told me that she takes her orders from the day-of coordinator and not from me. If the bride comes up to you during her wedding and expresses that she's unhappy about something you are doing, is that the appropriate thing to say??? Shouldn't she have found a way to work with me to fix the situation rather than getting defensive?

I was very much upset by the whole thing. I'm sure if Ameet had been there, things may have been better but I think the entire situation was handled unprofessionally. If he knew he might have to leave, he should have had a REAL DJ (not his brother in law) as a back-up to fill in. I also believe he anticipated that there would be this emergency and should have declined by business to begin with. I felt really misled.

there was also music I requested that was never played because Ameet did not agree with my taste. I didn't confront his wife about it because I really didn't want to speak to her again after the attitude she gave me.

Over, I would not recommend them. If Ameet had been there, I'm sure everything would have been great. However, If Ameet has an emergency situation and has to leave, the people you are left with are absolutely horrible.

We hired DJ Ameet for our baraat, wedding ceremony, and reception at the Crowne Plaza in Dunwoody, Atlanta. Absolutely amazing and phenomenal! He took care of everything for us so at the end of the day we could enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about the small details. He was very professional to work with and had a great line up of music at our reception..definitely knew how to keep the crowd going. He was very open to requests from our friends and family throughout the night as well. Very prompt and responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommended if you need a DJ for either a wedding, reception, sangeet, or just a party. All of our friends and family were impressed as he turned it up throughout the night!

It has been more than two months since my daughter's wedding at the Biltmore Ballrooms in Atlanta, and we are still receiving rave reviews from our guests in regard to our incredible DJ, Ameet kept the reception fun and alive, yet elegant and classy. He made suggestions for songs and dances that turned out to be big hits at the reception. He has great knowledge of music and kept the entire evening running smoothly, transitioning seamlessly into each portion of the reception.

I was having a 40th birthday birthday celebration at our home and had 3 weeks to plan it. The DJ I had hired initially fell through which left me in a quandary about the music entertainment for my party. I reached out to Ameet via his website. This was a week before my party. He managed to accommodate me into his schedule (which was a relief). I didn't get a chance to meet with him or hear his music, so was a lil nervous. However, all that went away when he played at our party. The music was phenomenal! his shout outs, his timing of gauging the crowd for what kinda music was needed was perfect. He played a lot of current stuff which was excellent, but as most of the crowd was in the 30s and 40s, he played a lot of hits from the 90s and 2000s era. The crowd did not wanna leave the dance floor!! I would hire Ameet for any event that requires music in a heart beat!

DJ Ameet was great at my wife's 40th party as the DJ and the MC. He came highly recommended by my "party" friends and he sure delivered on that reputation. He patiently took control of the night handling things that were not necessarily discussed which was really cool. He also did our lights which were amazing.

I hired DJ Ameet for my wedding through a friend’s reference. Ameet personally did our emceeing and DJing at the reception for our entire wedding in Macon, Georgia. He did all our events which included the Garba Night, Gujrati wedding ceremony and the evening reception. Ameet had all the perfect Gujrati Wedding Music for the occasion. The dhol player for the Baraat was phenomenal too. This was one of the few vendors we didn't have to worry about knowing what to do and they made the booking process extremely easy and painless. We loved his uplighting, music selection, emceeing and pretty much everything we asked for was delivered so professionally and with so much enthusiasm! Ameet is always high on energy and I was been told that he is teetotaler (a person who does not drink alcohol) - I was amazed, we couldn't be happier with our decision to book DJ. Thanks Ameet We highly recommend him to all our family and friends.

DJ Ameet is the best out there and have great passion in what he does! You can see Ameet does this for the passion of Music as his pricing is very reasonable compared to all the other DJ's in Atlanta area. We used him at our engagement party and we didn't even think twice about using him again for our wedding. We had our Ismaili Wedding which for obvious reasons were delayed, Ameet actually went out of his way and stayed even longer than he needed to at our wedding, the official time to end was 12:30am and Ameet was playing music till 2am without complaining once. He played great music during the Baraat that the crowd only got larger. The drummer he got along was also very enthusiastic and got the crowd rattled throughout the Baraat and the groom's entrance. He even did a few extra things for us last minute without anytime mentioning about the cost for which we eventually tipped him for. He went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Now the most important part...MUSIC! The music was absolutely amazing. Everyone (of all age groups) loved the music and the mixing; they loved it so much that the floor was packed throughout the night. We've been to several Ismaili weddings in 2014 and I can tell you no one does mixes like DJ Ameet. The transitions between English and Indian music was seamless and the music just spoke for itself. We have been to quite a few weddings where Drunk MC and DJ's takes over and talks too much to hype the crowd but with Ameet his music and mixing does the hyping. There isn't enough I can say about DJ Ameet and his services. You will love him and his music.

DJ Ameet is not just a Professional DJ, but he is more like a Family Member... This guy Entertained and made us happy with his tunes in all my events... He played every song that was requested by my guests... All my guests came up and told me afterward what a great DJ I had, and how he was easily able read the crowds mind, and how he got everyone, young and old, dancing ALL NITE LONG!! It was quite an amazing time for everyone! We are very happy with his service and recommend him to anyone who is need of quality DJ services. Ameet you are an amazing human being!
