Have you ever been to a Brazilian steakhouse or a Chinese dim sum? Imagine both but with refined Southern food and if you haven't gone to either.....you're in for a treat.

This was a very unique dining experience. I was NOT expecting cafeteria style seating with my date sitting on the opposite side of me and other patrons so close to me but I LOVED IT. I was so curious to see what others ordered and ask if we should order it as well.

Gunshow serves amazing small dishes and the actually chef comes out and presents each course to you. The drinks are made table side. I did feel bad declining some dishes since it looks so yummy but after dish number 5 - I was stuffed. This by far is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta due to its creativity, amazing food, and ambiance.

The menu is constantly changing with revolving chefs.

I wouldn't recommend it for a first date, since it's quite loud and busy, but definitely worth it with friends, family, or if you're in a relationship.

We parked on the street. :)

Love! Love! Love! My finace and I had date night here. I already knew that we were in for a treat based on the reviews that raved about Kevin's Gillespie's work. The service is Dim Sum style. You are given a menu with the dishes offered. The menu changes weekly and daily based on the creative juices flowing in the kitchen. The cooks come to your table with each menu item and give a full description. You can either go for it or pass. My favorite was the Thai pork belly. Vibrant, bold flavors! Parking was a bit scarce but who cares! The food and experience was worth it!

It truly does not get any better than this. If you are into dining "experiences", don't miss Gunshow. Kevin Gillespie has hit it out of the park with this concept. On the night we went, we enjoyed several amazing dishes including a bone marrow creme brulee that was sheer and utter perfection in food form. The craft cocktails were the best we've had. The attention to detail in every aspect is simply amazing. I can't say enough about this restaurant except we will definitely be back. I wish I could give this more stars.

If you want a food experience like no other, come here. Chefs bring around their food in a "dim sum" style setting, and you can pick and choose what you want to order. They also have a cocktail cart, where they can make a cocktail for you tableside. We enjoyed ourselves when we came here for Valentine's Day a couple of years ago. Word to the wise: come here with friends so you can share plates...that seems to be the way to not have a hefty bill (like we did!) at the end.

By far the best meal I have ever had in this city - but be warned - you have to be an adventurous eater to truly appreciate your meal!! Thank you Kevin Gillespie for such an awesome concept for a restaurant!!! It's dim sum meets Top Chef!!!
