My car was broken into today. They have no cameras in parking garage. Only in entry exit lanes. They do not cover the isles. Security guy said they been having break ins constantly. They offered no apologies for lack of security and said happy holidays. Worst experience ever had there. I will tell everyone I know about their poor security and if they don’t have an insurance policy to cover damages and loss you’ll here from me again. A lady’s car was stolen from the garage at same time. Beware!!

Great furniture, food and prices!

Furniture:

Ikea has great styles for their furniture at great prices. All the furniture comes in rectangular boxes that you take home and follow the instructions to assemble. The furniture has lasted us for many years, through multiple moves. It's not the sturdiest or longest lasting furniture around, but it is durable enough and the prices are amazing.

Food:

The swedish meatballs are amazing and worth the trip alone. The frozen yogurt is the best vanilla froyo i've tasted anywhere and the cinnamon rolls are a family favorite as well. Try the ligonberry sauce if you get the meatballs.

Atmosphere:

The upper level of the store has all of the furniture laid out into rooms and 'living spaces' of various sizes. They show you how you could live in 200sq ft and some other small size areas. Most of the furniture comes in 1+ of 3-4 shades, so it's easy to mix and match furniture. There is also a great kids area where kids can play on some of the toys they sell. If you want to shop without your kids, they do have a babysitting area that looks like fun for the kids if they are tall enough and potty trained.

Downstairs has a bunch of non-furniture stuff like great curtains, rugs, kitchen and bathroom stuff, dishes and glasses, etc etc. Then there is the self-service warehouse where you pick up your furniture and check-out. Don't miss the $3 umbrellas (they are huge) in the check-out line!

Oh IKEA..you've saved me on many days when it was cold outside and needed somewhere to take my young son to play. I've bought furniture from IKEA more than a decade ago but will only do so for maybe a playroom...I do like their duvet covers since they are reasonably priced. Its one of the few places that I can find a king sized duvet for under $50. The restaurant is OK and pretty cheap to grab lunch. Where else can two people eat for less than $10? Avoid the weekends if you can since it is packed!! Anytime of the day during the week it is practically empty so I would suggest even going after work if you can make it during the day.

IKEA YASS! Of course this place is amazing! The best part is you can buy a huge piece of furniture and still fit the box in a small car since you assemble everything at home. Beware of the crowds on weekends (especially around the start of the school year)

This is a convenient place to go home shopping. It's a one stop shop for all the furniture and decoration you need for your home. However, their bedding selection is very limited and they charge a lot to deliver.

My car was broke In to

I went there this Saturday feb 14,2015 and my car was broke in to while parked in the parking garage and so were the cars next to mine they busted our windows out and stole purses and other items from every one. The Atlanta officer and ikea lost prevention said it happens all the time even though they have security guards and none of then helped they acted like it was no big deal in highly upset about it all and so was every one else that it happened to

I love coming to Ikea for lunch - decent prices, cute accessories for your home.

Cheap good strong furniture does exist, to my great surprise! I got a large metal clothes rack when my closet filled up. Plastic versions had all collapsed under the weight of 20 jeans and ~40 t shirts, but the Ikea rack is super sturdy, yay! My Ikea kitchenware (pots, baskets, silverware, rugs) are also holding up great after 6 years.

What's not to love?

Ikea lays it all out on the table. You know what you're getting even if it is inexpensive but decent quality furniture. Throw out that old, crappy particle board entertainment center and upgrade it at Ikea without breaking the bank. This store is a sensory overload of useful items on the cheap without being "cheap." Throw in a great cafeteria with a Scandavian slant, wonderful frozen yogurt and cinnamon buns that you just can't pass up and you can spend a whole day here (and many do!). If in Atlanta, don't miss Ikea.

Scandinavian Foods

Nice selection of pickled herrings and smoked fish. The Lingonberry jam is delicious.
