I first discovered Jason's in another city when our office catered lunch and I loved it. Their sandwiches hit the spot and were a fresh change of pace. Since then, Jason's Delis have sprouted up everywhere and the sandwiches are still delicious as are their soups. The salad bar is usually nice and fresh with a nice array leafy greens and toppings - feta, cheddar or mozzarella; sprouts; peas; carrots; red and yellow peppers, etc. The prices aren't a bargain, but they're not bad either.

Highlights - the free dessert with the salad bar and the ice cream.



Lowlights - some of the sandwiches do seem a bit greasier than necessary but I think that's owing to the hot-grilled rye and the buttery croissant sandwich breads. - We've come to call Jason's the "Dirty Dish Diner" because inevitably the salad bowls have a speck of something on them but I'm willing to look the other way.
