Such a cute atmosphere. It's one of those places you could come work or sit and hang with friends for hours. A nice selection of wine and coffee, as well as pastries and sweets, so something for everyone to choose from.

The other day I went to JavaVino in the Poncey-Highlands and to be honest, I will not return there. When I walked in, I thought the coffee shop looked pretty nice and that there were plenty of places to sit and get work done. Another thing I noticed though was that everyone seemed to be 40+ in age- I was not feeling it. Lol I ordered an iced coffee and it was pretty standard in terms of taste. there was a creepy man that sat out front by the JavaVino sign and just blankly stared into space. Every few minutes, he would get up, walk to the parking lot, circle around, and then return to his bench and stare into space again. He was so weird and sometimes would come into the coffee shop and then would go right back out.

Great neighborhood coffee/wine bar

Java Vino is a wonderful independently owned neighborhood coffee and wine bar. The owners import coffee from their family's coffee estate in Nicaragua and roast the beans on site. All the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. Java Vino has daily wine specials and planned events throughout the month to take part in. The coffee is well brewed, tasty, and costs less than the chain coffee stores. Java Vino has a small, but tasty menu and is great for an afternoon snack or dessert after dinner.

In sum, Java Vino is always a pleasure and always recommended.
